Itävallasta Wienin eteläpuolelta tuli Doriksen kortti, jossa on ilmeisesti kuva jostakin sadusta ( Aus Im Garten der Pusteblumen/ Voikukkien puutarhasta suomeksi ). Se on hieno! Doris on vieläkin innoissaan Itävallassa pidetyistä Euroviisujen loppukilpailusta, jonka hän näki televisiosta. Me emme sitä nähneet. Kiitos kortista ja terveisistä!
A card from Doris arrived from Austria, south of Vienna, with a picture apparently from some fairy tale (Aus Im Garten der Pusteblumen/ From the Dandelion Garden). That's great! Doris is still excited about the Eurovision finals held in Austria, which she saw on TV. We didn't see it. Thanks for the card and the greetings!
Michiganin osavaltiosta saimme hyvin tiedottavan kartan alueesta. Sopii mainiosti meidän osavaltiokarttakokoelmaamme. Lähettäjä on pirteä Kati, josta elokuussa tulee isoäiti. Mielenkiintoiset ajat tulossa! Hänellä on moninaisia harrastuksia, joita voimme päätellä hänen olevan reipashenkinen rouva: snorklaus, kaikenlainen rantaelämään liittyvä, rockhunting (?), lukeminen ja matkustelu. We received a very informative map of the area from the state of Michigan. It fits perfectly into our state map collection. The sender is the cheerful Kati, who will become a grandmother in August. Interesting times are coming! She has many hobbies, which we can conclude that she is a lively lady: snorkeling, all kinds of beach life, rockhunting (?), reading and traveling.
