Rhode Islandista saimme Ryanilta hyvin mieluisan rantakuvan. Odotammehan jo kovasti kesän lämpöä. Kuva on Michigan-järveltä, missä Ryan kertoo käyneensä. Kiitokset kortista ja terveisistä!

We received a very nice beach postcard from Ryan in Rhode Island. We are looking forward to the summer heat, too. The photo is from Lake Michigan, where Ryan says he has been. Thanks for the card and greetings!

Bostonista tuli erikoinen, suloinen otus: Pohjois-Amerikan albiino piikkisika. Luulimme, että piikkisiat ovat vähän vaarallisia - tämä ei näytä siltä. A special, sweet creature came from Boston: a North American albino porcupine. We thought porcupines were a bit dangerous - this one doesn't seem like it. The card was sent by Maureen, who says that she and her son are into tarantulas, tarantula spiders. One day they noticed that one had escaped. After a hard search, it was found under a desk. Tarantulas are cunning creatures! Many thanks and best wishes to your son too!

Tämän kortin veijarit ovat meille tuttuja. Myös Meteora Kreikassa on tuttu, käviväthän Mommi ja Pappa siellä ihmettelemässä taivaaseen kurottuvia luostareita. The guys on this card are familiar to us. We also know Meteora in Greece, Mom and Dad used to visit there to marvel at the monasteries that reach into the sky. They also impressed Michelangelo, who was climbing there. He sent the card from San Jose, California. Thank you very much!

Queenslandin Aurinkorannikolta tuli Traceyn kortti. Hän asuu siellä miehensä, kolmen lapsensa ja kahden koiransa kanssa. Hänen korttinsa teema on meille tuntematon ANZAC-muistopäivä. Tracey's card came from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. She lives there with her husband, three children and two dogs. The theme of her card is for us unknown ANZAC Day. It is related to remembering the victims of the First World War. We watched an educational video about it. Thank you very much for the card and the explanation!
